The unmanned forklift has the advantages of accurate positioning, no infrastructure, independent programming, and flexible operation. Its navigation uses remote control technology, which not only saves labor, but also effectively prevents the occurrence of dangerous accidents. Currently, the two mainstream navigation methods are based on SLAM environment natural navigation and reflector navigation.

1. Reflecting plate navigation principle: Reflecting plates are arranged at a certain distance around the driving route of the forklift. The laser scanner on the forklift emits laser beams. These laser beams can quickly collect the laser beams reflected by the reflecting plate. Based on the data of multiple laser beams reflected back, the current position and course of the forklift in the environment can be determined, and in conjunction with the motion controller control algorithm, the forklift can be driven automatically.

2. Natural navigation based on the SLAM environment: SLAM is simultaneous positioning and mapping. In an unknown environment, the robot positions itself through the internal sensors and external sensors carried by itself, and on the basis of positioning, uses external sensors to obtain Environmental information, incrementally build an environmental map.
