The normal operation of electric forklift trucks is inseparable from the participation of electric motors. Electric forklift truck manufacturers remind forklift drivers that it is necessary to understand in advance: common faults of electric forklift motors.
1. Cannot start.
It may be that the electric forklift's motor has a fuse blown, the control circuit is not open, the motor winding has a serious short circuit or open circuit, a short circuit between the commutator blades, poor brush contact, overload, or mechanical damage such as bearings.
2. The speed is abnormal.
It may be caused by short-circuit or open circuit of the winding, incorrect and overloaded brush position, bearing damage, and low power supply voltage.
3. Sparks from the brush.
It may be caused by poor contact of the brushes of the electric forklift, unevenness of the surface of the commutator, unclean surface of the brush, incorrect position, short circuit of the commutator or short circuit of the motor winding.
4. There is noise.
The bearing parts of the forklift are damaged, the surface of the commutator is uneven, and the vibration or friction of the brush is caused.
5. Generate high temperature.
Due to overload, the bearings and oil seals of the forklift are too tight, damaged or poorly lubricated, the shaft core is not correct, the armature and the magnetic pole phase friction, the winding short circuit, the brush pressure is too large, the position is not correct, and the rectification is caused.
